As a member of the Musixmatch community, you’re already a certified lyrics expert. That doesn’t mean, however, that every word, phrase, or line that you come across will fit in your ear as comfortably as the last. Sometimes, lyrics are simply difficult to decipher, and we get that. We also get that not being able to understand a chunk of lyrics is particularly frustrating for contributors working on missions.

It’s for that reason that our techies have introduced a new feature in the Curator Studio to help kickstart your mission contributions and offer a lyrical lifeline for problematic passages. Introducing ‘Lyrics Suggestions'! As a title, it’s a pretty self-explanatory one, but you may be asking yourself where these suggestions come from. Well, that’s the really cool thing…the Lyrics Suggestions you find in the Assistant tab come directly from the artist!

Naturally, the artist of a song knows its lyrics inside out. At the same time, Musixmatch Curators and Specialists have incredibly precise knowledge of the Guidelines that help those lyrics shine. It’s a match made in heaven and one that we’re delighted to facilitate with the Lyrics Suggestions feature.

Remember, these lyrics are suggestions and not ready-to-publish final drafts. You can (and should) trust the words given in the suggestions, but the formatting is likely to need attention, so it’s very important that you proofread carefully. The feature is designed to help with the contributions you make, not replace them.
