Hello and welcome to 2024! Our Connected theme this month is ‘new beginnings’ and it’s with that in mind that I’d like to introduce you to our first Just For Fun game of the year!

Below you’ll see the pictures of 5 international artists, who all have something musical in common, except for one of them! In order to win January’s Just For Fun game, you’ll have to identify each of the artists and figure out which is the odd one out! Once you’ve done so, submit their name in this form.

Winners will be announced, as always, in next month’s edition.

And here we are with the results! Many of you got in touch with your ideas for who could be the odd-one-out of our featured artists. Theories shared related to musical genres of the artists, whether they are also song-writers, and nationalities, but the answer we were looking for was related to when the artists last released new music!

Bring Me The Horizon, Greenday, Kid Cudi, and Ariana Grande all released new music in January. Lady Gaga got her fans excited with images of her recording new music, but didn’t release anything in January, making her the odd one out!

Congratulations to Wyatt, Nadnad, Hendra limonu, and Lola for correctly identifying this! But shout-outs also to the rest of you who got involved. It was a tough game this week, but great to see so many of you engage with your ideas and theories!
