That's so true! Or is it..?

Gracie Abram’s new song ‘That’s so true’ gained great commercial success and popularity in November. In celebration of the song, we’ve used it as the inspiration for this month’s Just for Fun game!

It’s a really simple one; we’re going to present you with 3 statements related to musical news of the month, and you just have to figure out if they’re ‘so true’ or not! The statements are listed below, and you can submit your answers via the following form.

When you’re ready, fill in your answers here and stay tuned for the answers next month!

And so here we are! Rounding off the year with the results to our final 2024 Just for Fun game. It was a simple one that saw many of you getting involved, but only a handful of you managed to get all 3 questions correct!. Think you were one of those who nailed the answers? Let’s see!

  1. As of today, Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Espresso’ is the most streamed song of 2024 so far

That’s so true!

Spotify confirmed it in their ‘For the Record’ feature with the release of Wrapped 2024. Funnily enough, Espresso was also my most steamed song of the year! That’s that me Espresso <3

2. Early in November 2024 a previously hidden Beethoven piece was discovered and released

Nope, that’s false!

It was in fact a new Chopin piece that was discovered and released in November 2024. It’s a waltz for the piano that sat tragically still for almost 200 years in a New York library before it was recently found and allowed to dance! It’s discovery interestingly comes just a month after a new piece was found by Mozart! Classical composers indeed are, against the odds,, dropping singles. But Beethoven is yet to join the party.

3. In this year’s MTV EMA’s, Taylor Swift became the first person to win the ‘Best Artist’ Category 3 times

That’s so true!

Taylor Swift has had a fantastic year, accurately marked by her now Hat-trick of Best Artist victories at the EMA’s. I’m sure this will be almost as exciting for her as the fact that she won our Community’s ranking of the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century.

There we have it then! Two truths and a lie. Congratulations to everyone who found the fib, and thanks to the rest of you for taking part!

Alex, Chehalahsworld, Elysios Marnezos, Addy Santiago, KZ Chia, Brayden, Hendri Irawan, Danielle Solis, Gracy René, Christina Legaki, sourteacup, Russel Walsh, Gehrig Faust, Museli Mulaima, Amelia G.

We wish you a fantastic end to the year, and can’t wait to see how we connect further in the new one.
